I installed the TBX EC mid Boost kit in one of my strats. The middle knob is the TBX tone control. From 1 to 5 it's a normal passive tone control. You should feel the detent as you turn the pot. From 5 To 10 it boosts Treble and Bass and becomes a active EQ. The other tone control is the Mid Boost which you can adjust from 1 to 10.
